KidoCare - Account and data deletion

This page explains how KidoCare users can delete their account and the data associated with it.

How do I delete my account?

1. Open the KidoCare app.
2. Open the menu.
3. Tap Profile.
4. For parent accounts, tap Profile info.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the profile screen.
6. Tap Delete account.
7. Confirm deletion.

After confirmation, your account will be deleted and the app will return you to the signed-out welcome screen. If you cannot access your account to delete it in the app, contact us for help at contact@kidocare.app.

What data will be deleted?

• Account details and identifiers associated with the account.
• User profile information, including parent or babysitter profile details.
• Profile photos and files uploaded to the account, if any.
• Address and contact information saved in the account, if any.
• Requests, messages, ratings, and account-associated activity data, where deletion is possible.

Data that may be retained for a limited time

We may retain certain data for a limited time if needed for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, backups, or legal compliance. Such data will be kept only for as long as needed for those purposes, and generally for no longer than 90 days unless a longer period is required by law.
