KidoCare - Terms of Use

Last updated: July 30, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the KidoCare app and related services. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What is the service?

KidoCare is a platform intended to help parents find babysitters in their area and send babysitting requests, and to help babysitters manage their profile, availability, and requests. KidoCare is not a babysitting agency, does not employ babysitters, is not a party to agreements between users, and is not responsible for the actual performance of babysitting services.

Accounts and users

No screening or background checks

KidoCare does not screen users, verify identity, perform background checks, criminal checks, reference checks, qualification checks, or suitability checks. Profiles, ratings, reviews, availability, experience, prices, and other information shown in the app are based mainly on information provided by users or on their activity in the app, and do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by KidoCare.

User responsibility for safety and precautions

All interactions between users, whether inside or outside the app, are the sole responsibility of the users. Parents and babysitters must take appropriate precautions before any meeting or engagement, including speaking beforehand, verifying identity, checking references, setting expectations, choosing an appropriate meeting place, keeping another person informed, and using independent judgment. Parents are responsible for deciding whether a babysitter is suitable for their needs and their children's needs.

Requests, cancellations, no-shows, and payments

KidoCare does not guarantee babysitter availability, approval of requests, on-time arrival by a babysitter, or arrival at all, and is not responsible for cancellations, no-shows, delays, misunderstandings, service quality, user conduct, damage, loss, injury, or disputes between users.

Payments, subscriptions, and paid actions

As of the date these terms were updated, use of the app is free of charge. In the future, KidoCare may offer or require payment for some services, including subscriptions, pay-per-action fees, contact fees, babysitting request fees, completed-booking fees, or other payment models, if and when such options are introduced.

Any price, subscription, charge, benefit, trial period, credit, cancellation, or refund will be subject to the terms shown in the app or in the relevant app store at the time of purchase or use. Any payment or financial arrangement between a parent and a babysitter that is not collected through KidoCare, if any, is made directly between the users and at their sole responsibility, unless expressly stated otherwise in the app.

User content, ratings, and reviews

Users are responsible for content they upload or provide in the app, including photos, profile details, messages, ratings, and reviews. Users may not upload content that is false, misleading, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, infringing, or unlawful. KidoCare may remove content, limit use, or close an account if it believes the app has been misused or these terms have been violated.

Referrals and KidoCredits

KidoCredits, referral codes, or other in-app rewards, if available, are not money, are not redeemable for cash, and do not create a vested right. If a new user signs up through a referral link sent by an existing user, the existing user may receive KidoCredits according to the rules shown in the app at that time. KidoCredits may reduce amounts users are required to pay in the app, but KidoCare does not guarantee that the reduction will be exactly equal to the number or stated value of the KidoCredits. Usage caps, conversion ratios, eligibility conditions, expiration dates, limits by action type, or other calculation methods may apply.

KidoCare may change, limit, suspend, or cancel referral, KidoCredits, and reward mechanisms, including in cases of error, misuse, suspicious activity, business model changes, or violation of these terms.

Service availability and changes

The app is provided as is and as available. KidoCare does not guarantee that the app will operate without errors, delays, or interruptions, or that all information in the app will always be accurate, complete, or up to date. KidoCare may change, stop, limit, or update the app or parts of it at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidoCare, its owners, managers, employees, providers, or representatives will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, or other damage, loss, expense, injury, data loss, loss of income, distress, or other claim arising from use of the app, inability to use the app, interactions between users, babysitting services, a babysitter's no-show or cancellation, information provided by users, or reliance on information shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Privacy and account deletion

Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy: https://kidocare.app/privacy-policy. Information about account and data deletion is available at: https://kidocare.app/delete-account.

Ending use and closing accounts

Users may stop using the app at any time. KidoCare may limit, suspend, or close an account in case of violation of these terms, misuse, suspicious activity, risk to other users, or legal obligation.

Changes to these terms

KidoCare may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The last updated date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after the terms are updated means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, subject to any consumer or other mandatory laws that cannot be waived. For questions about these Terms of Use, contact us at contact@kidocare.app.
